Step no 1: Preparatory steps in China
1.a. The prospective buyer gets in touch with the Greek Estate Agent or a representation office where is given initial information about Greece and a list of properties to view over internet.
1.b. The prospective buyer with the help of the Greek Estate Agent short-lists a number of properties and decides to visit Greece.
1.c. The prospective buyer must obtain a traveling visa. He and all the members of his family travelling with him must visit the Greek consulate or any other EU Schengen zone country consulate to issue a visa for Entry.

Step no 2: 1st Visit in Greece
2a. Accommodation in specific hotels near the place of interest can be help arranged by the Greek Estate Agent.But the buyer will pay for the accommodation.
2.b. Visit with the Greek Estate Agent the properties and meet the Seller. Signing real estate instruction form
2.c. Instruct the Law Office to do a preliminary land search.
2.d. If property is in good order sign a down-payment agreement with the Seller.
2.e. Obtain a Greek tax number.
2.f. Visit the notary public to sign a proxy of representation
3.g. Conclusion of property search & preparatory acts in Greece. Final decision and instruction at to the details of purchase a specific property with the Greek Estate Agent and the Law Office to proceed.

Step no 3: Preparing for the Purchase
3.1. The notary public will issue the list of documents necessary to draft the sale-purchase contract.
3.2. The Law Office will collaborate with the Estate Agent the Seller and a civil engineer to collect the all documents
3.3. The Law Office will take the documents to the notary public and examine the validity.
3.4. The Notary Public will draft the sale-purchase contract.
3.5. The Law Office will examine the draft the sale-purchase contract and have discussion with the lawyer of Seller in necessary.
3.6. The Notary Public will draft the transfer tax declaration. The declaration will be sign by the Seller and the lawyer of Buyer.
3.7. The transfer tax is paid the sale-purchase contract is signed.
3.8. The full payment contract is signed the property is registered in the name of buyer.

Step no 4: Applying for Residence Permit – 2nd Visit in Greece
4.1. Making an appointment with the immigration Office
4.2. Collecting all documents from buyer.
4.3. Buyer visits Greece and with the Law Office they submit the application and there fingerprints to the immigration office. – Obtain Temporary residence Permit(BLUE PAPER).
4.4. The Law Office visits immigration office to obtain the residence permit (GOLDEN VISA)
